Falk F. Strascheg is one of the most experienced and successful venture capitalists in Germany and Europe.
In 1971 Mr. Strascheg started the company Laser Optronic in Munich. After growing the company to become Europe's leading manufacturer of lasers and laser systems within a period of ten years, he successfully sold the business to global market leader Coherent Inc. of Palo Alto, California.
Then in 1987 he founded TECHNOLOGIEHOLDING, which he made into the leading venture capital firm in Germany and German-speaking Europe within just a few years. TECHNOLOGIEHOLDING has financed numerous innovative high-tech firms as lead investor.
In late December 2000, he sold the company to 3i Group plc. Through that date, of the 156 early-stage investments made, 16 young enterprises went public on growth-oriented international exchanges and 31 companies were sold.
Mr. Strascheg is a supervisory or advisory board member for several international technology firms. In 1998 he became chairman of the European Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (EVCA).
He established the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, which under the vision of a "lifelong learning concept for entrepreneurs", is dedicated to applied research, education and policy formation for the benefit of European entrepreneurs and investment professionals. He also established the "Strascheg Institute for Innovation, Transformation and Entrepreneurship (SITE)" at the EBS European Business School and the "Polytech Strascheg" at the Polytechnic University in St. Petersburg.

Mr. Thorsten Rudolph is Managing Director of the Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen (AZO). He is a pioneer in building space innovation networks on a global scale. AZOs Innovation Masters Series for the European Galileo and Copernicus Programs with more than 10.000 business cases in the last 12 years has become the leading innovation platform covering the New Space Economy and involving some of the largest technology players (e.g., Airbus Defence and Space, ESA, DLR, T-Systems, DHL, BMW, Nokia). Mr. Rudolph founded the first European Business Incubator for Satellite Navigation and Earth Observation in 2001 and established and currently manages the ESA BIC Bavaria - the most successful European Space Incubator with 105 Startup Companies.
After extensive experience in capital markets, Renaud created PRIMNEXT, an expertise company specialized in valuing disruptive technologies and investing in as well as accelerating startups operating in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Systems. Through PRIMNEXT, Renaud launched and managed Robolution Capital, the first venture capital fund dedicated to advanced robotics in the world, he was involved in the definition of several national robotics roadmaps and he has been an active board member of a dozen startups in this field.
Renaud is also Director of euRobotics aisbl, the European Association of Robotics acting as the private side of the program SPARC, the Robotics Public-Private Partnership with the European Commission. He is an external evaluator for the EC SME Instrument scheme and is at the advisory board of the European projects ECHORD++ and TT-NET.
Renaud is finally an author and speaker at international events with a special focus on investment, entrepreneurship and ethical-legal-socio-economic issues linked to Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.

Martin Haegele received his degree as Diplom-Ingenieur in mechanical engineering from the University of Stuttgart in 1989 and his degree of Master of Science in Engineering Science (Solid Mechanics and Materials Science) from the George Washington University in Washington DC, USA. In 1989 he started working as a research engineer in industry and transferred as a researcher in robotics to Fraunhofer IPA in 1992. In 1993 he was promoted to Head of Department "Robot Systems" and has been appointed a member of the Fraunhofer IPA managing board in 2001. He is a 2007 Engelberger Awards winner.

After studying at the Technical Universities of Kaiserslautern and Dresden Henrik Schunk joined SCHUNK GmbH & Co. KG as Managing Partner in 2001. His first position as President of SCHUNK USA until 2005 was followed by the position of Head of Sales and Marketing in Germany, and after that as Head of worldwide Business Development.
Today he has taken over the responsibility for the business unit Gripping Systems, Automa-tion Solutions and Mobile Gripping Systems within the management board. Besides, he has been chairman of the European robotics association "EUnited Robotics" since July 2010.
In his spare time Henrik Schunk enjoys spending time with the family, going to the football stadium (VfB Stuttgart) and reading a good non-fiction book.

Patrick is the Managing Director of VDMA Robotics + Automation and was appointed Director of the EUnited Robotics Association as of May 2014. Patrick has been with VDMA Robotics + Automation since January 1999 and has a thorough knowledge of the robotics industry, assembly technology and machine vision industry. He was in charge of the European Factory Automation Committee (a sector committee for the producers of assembly and handling technology), and the European Machine Vision Association.
Patrick holds a Master's Degree in Economics and a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics.
